The location of Toyoko itself is very convenient. There is a drugstore in the shopping mall next to it, and it is also convenient for eating. It is not far from the bus stop to Malapascua Island and is also close to the airport. The hotel itself provides free airport minibus service. When you check in, you can book the time you want to take the bus. It departs on time and is quite reliable. The size and style of the room are almost exactly the same as the one I stayed in Frankfurt. It is one of the few hotels where the room type can be a little cheaper if you choose to stay alone. The bathroom is small but fully equipped, and it feels really good to have a bathtub. It is recommended to go early for breakfast, otherwise it will be very chaotic if there are group tourists, and you will have to wait a long time for the complementary dishes. It is free and there is nothing to complain about. It is simple and tries to balance the styles of Japanese and local cuisine. You can make reservations directly in the room and the price of massage is very reasonable. I think it is ideal as a relay station for diving trips!

The whole building is in the downtown area. Downstairs is SM City with supermarkets and food. There is also jollibee nearby. The room is big, but it is just the standard of a normal temporary place to stay. There is currently construction going on around it, so you need to be careful when choosing a room.

It may have just been a coincidence, but there were no staff members who could speak Japanese. However, their English was easy to understand, and when I couldn't enter the room because the battery in my room key was broken(?), they prepared another room for me, so the service was very good! It's in a great location so you can go to the shopping mall without having to walk down a dark street at night, so I was staying here for a day before my late-night flight, and it was the right choice to stay here♪
